Native Plants and People of the Apostle Islands

Plants of the Lake Superior region have been in relationship with their neighbors for generations. For most of history, people relied on the land for sustenance, medicines, and spiritual guidance. This information is still available, in part due to the stewardship of knowledge by Indigenous peoples of this area. Join Moss Kupper as she explains and explores some of these enthralling tales.

You’ll learn some of the medicinal plants native to the area, learn more about the history and significance of the local tribes, and understand the importance of the Apostle Islands to the past, present, and future inhabitants.

This course sails on:

  • June 18, 19 & 20
  • July 2 & 3
  • August 22 & 23

Price: $240/Adult, $210/child
